  • 1. Product Introduction

WT‑308 ammonia‑nitrogen remover is a high‑molecular inorganic compound with a special framework structure. It delivers an ammonia‑nitrogen removal rate of over 90 %, and also has a certain removal effect on heavy‑metal ions. It is an ammonia‑nitrogen degrading agent developed for fast and effective removal of stubborn ammonia‑nitrogen in various water bodies.

    2. Features & Advantages

    1. Functional agent developed for wastewater that is difficult to treat by biochemical processes.
    2. Achieves ammonia‑nitrogen removal rate above 90 %, up to 10 times higher than ordinary products.
    3. Reaction completes within about 5‑6 minutes for rapid compliance of effluent ammonia‑nitrogen for discharge.
    4. JQSY ammonia‑nitrogen remover features low dosage and high removal efficiency, effectively reducing the treatment cost per ton of wastewater.
    5. Easy to feed and apply with good operability.
    6. Provides auxiliary functions such as decolorization and COD reduction.
    7. Specially applied for medium‑low‑concentration industrial wastewater from electroplating, PCB, printing‑dyeing, leather, food and pharmaceutical processes.

    4. Usage and Dosage

    1. Laboratory Test Procedure

Lab tests shall be carried out before formal application as follows:

    1. Take a certain volume of wastewater to be treated, e.g. 500 mL or 1 L (sample can be taken from sedimentation tank).
    2. Weigh a certain amount of ammonia‑nitrogen remover (e.g. 300 ppm / 400 ppm / 500 ppm) and add it into target wastewater.
    3. Stir for about 6 minutes for sufficient reaction of the agent.
    4. Determine residual ammonia‑nitrogen value in water.

    2. On‑site Application

    1. Dosing point: This agent reacts extremely fast and finishes within around 6 minutes. It can directly treat ammonia‑nitrogen‑exceeded wastewater. Dosing can be performed in sand filter tank or pH readjustment tank behind sedimentation tank. Aeration or stirring is required to ensure complete reaction.
    2. Actual dosage: Dosage varies according to ammonia‑nitrogen concentration of raw wastewater. The practical dosage of ammonia‑nitrogen degrading agent shall be determined and adjusted via laboratory tests.

    5. Packaging and Storage

    1. Packed in kraft paper bags, standard specification: 25 kg per bag.
    2. Store in cool, dry and well‑ventilated place.
    3. Do not store together with acids or flammable and explosive materials.

    Residual Ammonia‑Nitrogen (ppm)45.536.7528.519.5120

As shown in above data, residual ammonia‑nitrogen decreases with the increase of agent dosage. For example, if raw wastewater ammonia‑nitrogen is 45 ppm and target effluent is below 15 ppm, recommended dosage is 0.4 kg per ton of water. Actual dosage varies subject to ammonia‑nitrogen level of wastewater.

★ Water quality differs across industries, hence the required dosage of JQSY ammonia‑nitrogen remover varies accordingly.
