JQ-331 Neutral Aluminum Degreaser

1. Performance and Applications

• *Surfactants, water softeners, chelating agents, emulsifiers, penetrants and stabilizers.
• *An aluminum-focused degreaser for fingerprints, machining oils, dust and polishing residues; low foaming and suitable for room-temperature use. Degreasing is distinct from oxide-scale removal or chemical etching.
• *Pure aluminum, aluminum alloys, aluminum die castings, heat sinks, precision hardware and aluminum automotive parts. Validate each alloy grade, silicon content, casting condition and surface treatment separately. Test anodized, painted and polished surfaces first. Copper, magnesium, zinc alloys and other non-aluminum materials are not assumed suitable and are not recommended without confirmation.

2. Technical Specifications

The brochure does not specify pH test conditions; these values are not working-bath pH setpoints.

3. Directions for Use

Add 3–5 parts water to one part concentrate. Soak, spray or wipe at room temperature; use the stated 3–6 minutes as a starting point validated by testing. Adjust concentration or time gradually for heavy soils; avoid uncontrolled extended soaking. Rinse thoroughly and dry promptly. Validate downstream requirements before coating, bonding or anodizing.

4. Packaging and Storage

• *Available in 5 kg or 25 kg plastic drums.
• *Closed container in a cool, dry, ventilated place away from sunlight.
• *Shelf life: 24 months.

5. Safety and Protection

Wear protective gloves and goggles. Keep away from children. Avoid eye contact and prolonged skin contact; rinse eyes immediately with plenty of water after contact. Check for discoloration, gloss changes, pitting and dimensional requirements before full-scale cleaning.
