- Compared with conventional water softeners, it features low dosage, stable performance, capability to chelate divalent and multivalent metal ions, and excellent effect on removing calcium‑magnesium hardness.
- Widely used for boiler heating‑water, ultrafiltration & reverse‑osmosis pretreatment and domestic‑water softening. It sharply reduces water hardness and effectively inhibits scale formation.
2. Usage and Dosage
Dose via metering pump into raw‑water inlet pipeline, or add into raw‑water storage tank according to calculated dosage.
General dosing criteria:
- When feed‑water hardness ≤100 mg/L: dosage 20 g per ton of water.
- For every additional 10 mg/L increase in feed‑water hardness, increase dosage by 1 g per ton of water.
- If feed‑water hardness is unknown, moderately increase dosage following above rules.
