1. Performance and Application

HEDP·Na₄ is sodium salt of HEDP, an excellent calcium carbonate scale inhibitor. It is mainly applied for low‑pressure boiler water treatment, circulating water treatment, industrial & municipal clean water supply, and metal corrosion inhibition for swimming pool disinfection.

1. Available as white powder solid, easily soluble in water, non‑hygroscopic and convenient for transportation, suitable for use in frigid conditions.
2. As organophosphonate scale‑corrosion inhibitor, it can form complexes with iron, copper, zinc and other metal ions, and dissolve oxides on metal surfaces. It maintains favorable scale and corrosion inhibition performance even at 250 ℃.
3. Widely used for scale and corrosion inhibition in circulating cooling water of power, chemical, metallurgy, fertilizer industries, low‑pressure boilers, oilfield water injection and oil‑transport pipelines.
4. In light textile industry, it serves as cleaner for metallic and non‑metallic materials; peroxide stabilizer and color‑fixing agent in printing & dyeing industry; complexing agent for electroless plating; and additive for daily‑use chemical products.

1. Liquid HEDP·Na₄ is packed in plastic drums of 30 KG or 250 KG. Solid product is packed in plastic woven bags with inner polyethylene liner, net weight 25 kg per bag. Packaging can be customized upon requirements.
2. Store indoors in cool place. Shelf life: 10 months.

4. Safety & Protection

HEDP·Na₄ is alkaline. Take labor‑protection measures during operation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Rinse immediately with plenty of clean water upon contact.
