Polyhydric alcohol phosphate ester (PAPE) is a new‑type water treatment agent with favorable scale‑inhibiting and corrosion‑inhibiting performance. Multiple polyoxyethylene groups are introduced into its molecular structure, which improves not only corrosion inhibition, but also the capacity for calcium scale inhibition and sediment dispersion.

It delivers excellent control over barium and strontium scale deposition which cannot be well suppressed by conventional domestic scale inhibitors. It also shows good inhibition against deposition of poorly‑soluble salts such as calcium carbonate and calcium sulfate in water. It provides cathodic protection for steel materials, with better corrosion inhibition performance than domestic similar products. PAPE has good compatibility with water quality stabilizers including polycarboxylates, organophosphonates, inorganic phosphates and zinc salts. It can be used as scale inhibitor for oilfield injection water (highly recommended as substitute for Nalco Visco 953), as well as corrosion and scale inhibitor for industrial cooling water treatment.

|---|---|
| Appearance | Colorless to yellow transparent liquid |
| Solid Content % | ≥50.0 |
| Total Phosphorus (as PO₄³⁻) % | ≥30.0 |
| Organophosphorus Content (as PO₄³⁻) % | ≥15.0 |
| pH (1% aqueous solution) | 2.0‑3.0 |
Dosage varies according to water quality and process conditions. For scale inhibition, the general dosage of PAPE is less than 15 mg/L. For closed‑loop circulating corrosion inhibition, dosage can be above 150 mg/L.
Packed in plastic drums with net weight of 25 KG or 200 KG per drum. Store in cool and dry place. Shelf life: 12 months.
PAPE is acidic liquid. Take labor‑protection measures during operation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Rinse immediately with plenty of clean water upon contact.
