This product can adsorb onto metal surfaces and form a thin protective film to protect copper and other metals from corrosion caused by atmosphere and harmful media. It can be compounded with various scale inhibitors and biocides in circulating cooling‑water systems and delivers excellent corrosion‑inhibiting performance. The working dosage in circulating water is 2‑4 mg/L. It can also be used as anti‑discoloration agent for copper‑silver alloys, additive for automobile coolant and lubricating oil.
