1. Performance and Application

1. EXN‑902 special scale inhibitor for desulfurization is developed based on process conditions and system characteristics of different sections in limestone‑gypsum wet flue‑gas desulfurization systems through extensive screening work. It is an excellent scale‑inhibiting dispersant for desulfurization towers to prevent scaling on tower walls, swirl plates, sieve holes and nozzles. It avoids system instability and economic losses caused by shutdown maintenance due to scaling inside desulfurization towers.
2. The desulfurization‑tower scale inhibitor has strong adaptability to limestone desulfurization systems. It is a high‑performance scale inhibitor for limestone slurry in desulfurization towers. It is applicable not only to limestone slurry, but also to circulating cooling water with high sulfate content and high hardness. It can also be added into GGH descaling agent to enhance descaling performance.

3. Usage Method

Processes and limestone qualities vary among different limestone‑gypsum wet flue‑gas desulfurization plants. Therefore dosing method and dosage shall be determined according to actual conditions. Recommended: Dose quantitatively at the inlet of circulating pump based on hourly make‑up water flow. Typical dosage of desulfurization scale inhibitor: 100‑200 ppm.

4. Packaging and Storage

Normally packed in 25 kg plastic drums; customized packages available upon customer requirements.

5. Safety & Protection

EXN‑902 special scale inhibitor for desulfurization tower is weakly acidic. Take protective measures during handling. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water.
