  • 1. Performance and Application

    EXN‑904 is an organic‑sulfur heavy‑metal remover developed for desulfurization‑system wastewater. At ambient temperature, it rapidly reacts with various heavy‑metal ions in wastewater including Cu2+, Mn2+, Ni2+, Pb2+, Cd2+, Ag2+, Zn2+, Cr2+, Hg2+ to form water‑insoluble chelating salts. Coagulants (e.g. polyferric sulfate, polyaluminum chloride) and flocculants (e.g. anionic polyacrylamide) are added to accelerate sedimentation, so as to remove heavy‑metal ions.

    EXN‑904 can treat wastewater with heavy‑metal pollution from electroplating, electronics, petrochemical, metal processing, waste incineration plants, power‑plant flue‑gas washing and other wastewater systems.

    According to research and practical application, EXN‑904 has three prominent advantages:

    1. Low toxicity;
    2. Excellent heavy‑metal removal efficiency. It can remove heavy metals from metal ions, complexes and chelates, and works directly over a wide pH range;
    3. Generates sparingly‑soluble macromolecular three‑dimensional chelates. Sulfidation reaction proceeds completely even under high‑temperature or strong‑water‑scouring conditions; precipitates are stable and settle readily.

    2. Technical Specifications

    ItemIndex
    AppearanceYellow‑green transparent liquid
    Specific Gravity (20℃, g/cm³)≥1.05
    pH (raw liquid)≥10.0

    3. Usage Method

    Actual dosage shall be determined by wastewater bench‑scale test. General operation guidelines are as follows:

    1. Ensure wastewater pH>2; recommended pH range: 6‑9.
    2. EXN‑904 can be dosed directly or after dilution.
    3. Typical dosage: 10‑100 ppm. Exact dosage is determined by wastewater quality; reaction time is approx. 30 min.
    4. Add inorganic coagulant (polyferric sulfate, polyaluminum chloride) at approx. 0.05‑0.2 kg/m³ wastewater (optional according to conditions). Reaction time: 2‑5 min.
    5. Add 0.1 % anionic polyacrylamide (molecular weight about 8 million) at 1.0 mL/L wastewater, agitate rapidly for 2 min (industrial dosage: 0.0005‑0.002 kg/m³ wastewater). Reaction time: 2‑5 min, then stand for sedimentation.
    6. Evaluate effluent water quality to confirm optimal dosage.

    4. Packaging and Storage

    Packed in plastic drums, normally 25 kg per drum; customized packages available upon request. Store in cool place. Stable upon long‑term storage.

    5. Safety & Protection

    EXN‑904 is alkaline. Take protective measures during handling. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water.
