1. Performance and Application

1. EN‑268B closed‑loop water corrosion inhibitor is designed for chilled‑water and hot‑water closed systems using ethylene glycol, methanol, ethanol or industrial water as cooling media. It also serves as water‑phase corrosion inhibitor for antifreeze fluids, oil tankers and storage tanks to mitigate water‑line corrosion, and is applicable to air‑conditioning chilled‑water systems.
2. Formulated mainly with dispersants, it is one of the widely‑adopted high‑performance inhibitors for closed‑loop systems. Chromate‑free and colorless in water, it minimizes spot formation on metal surfaces. It delivers excellent corrosion inhibition for carbon steel, stainless steel, copper alloy, aluminum alloy and other materials. It maintains favorable heat‑transfer efficiency and lowers maintenance & operating costs. The liquid product allows easy dosing and handling. This product is mainly suitable for closed circulating cooling‑water systems with low leakage rate.

Calculated based on system hold‑up water volume: JQSY engineers recommend one‑time initial dosage of 1500 mg/L upon system commissioning; pre‑filming treatment is not required. During normal operation, add 1.3 times the calculated dosage into the expansion tank according to makeup cooling‑water volume. For preservation application in oil tankers or oil storage tanks, better performance can be achieved when used together with demulsifiers.

4. Packaging & Storage

JQSY corrosion inhibitor is normally packed in blue plastic drums of 25 kg or 250 kg. Store indoors in cool place. Shelf‑life: 10 months.

5. Safety & Protection

EN‑268B Closed‑Loop Water Corrosion Inhibitor is weakly alkaline. Take proper labor protection during operation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water.
