AG‑970 Special Corrosion & Scale Inhibitor for Boilers (Alkaline Solid)

AG‑970 boiler‑special corrosion and scale inhibitor is compounded of alkaline inorganic substances and organic substances. The alkaline inorganic components convert calcium and magnesium salts in water into water‑slag, which is removed by blow‑down to prevent sediment and scaling. Organic components improve fluidity of water‑slag for easy discharge, and induce a molecular film on metal surfaces. The film isolates metal from corrosive and scaling substances in water, preventing boiler scaling and corrosion.

AG‑970 boiler‑special corrosion and scale inhibitor is compounded of alkaline inorganic substances and organic substances. Organic components improve fluidity of water‑slag for easy discharge, and induce a molecular film on metal surfaces. The film isolates metal from corrosive and scaling substances in water, preventing boiler scaling and corrosion.

When dosed into operating boiler water, it chemically reacts with aged scale and rust deposits over long‑time operation, stripping old scale and rust from metal surfaces to expose clean metal. Therefore, this agent delivers both scale‑inhibition and descaling effects, especially for sulfate, silicate and iron‑oxide scale. Field feedback shows excellent anti‑scale performance to realize scale‑free operation.

    2. Dosage Calculation

‑For Yangtze River, Pearl River, Songhua River, Heilongjiang river‑system make‑up water or similar groundwater with hardness 1‑3 mmol/L: dosage 20‑50 g per ton water; blow‑down rate 3‑5 %. ‑For Yellow River, Haihe River, Huaihe river‑system make‑up water or similar groundwater with hardness 3‑5 mmol/L: dosage 60‑100 g per ton water; blow‑down rate 5‑10 %. ‑Users may adjust dosage according to on‑site conditions.

    3. Usage Method

    Two application methods are available:

    1. For boilers with water tank/pool without water softener: add inhibitor directly into tank/pool. Calculate proper dosage to avoid agent saturation and precipitation. The agent will be fed into furnace together with feed‑water.
    2. Dosing funnel injection: dissolve agent with 80 ℃ hot‑water, filter via screen, then inject into furnace by dosing funnel. Can adopt intermittent dosing (once per shift) or one‑shot bulk dosing.

    4. Technical Specifications

    ItemIndex
    AppearanceWhite to slight‑yellow powdery solid
    pH (1 % aqueous solution)10.0±1.0
    Shelf‑life12 months
    Packaging20 kg/drum

    5. Notes

‑After dosing, control boiler‑water pH no higher than 12. Perform regular blow‑down, at least once per shift, 30‑60 seconds each time. ‑If water level remains unchanged after blow‑down, check whether pipelines are blocked by stripped old scale; take prompt measures in case of blockage. ‑Preferably remove original scale before furnace‑water treatment to avoid massive scale shedding and pipeline blockage; monitor water level and water‑temperature variation.
